Food items worth twenty seven million naira have been donated to the Internally Displaced Persons IDPs and some All Progressives Congress APC executives in Niger state.

Presenting the donation to Secretary to the Niger state Government in Minna APC Gubernotorial Aspirant Alh Mohd Idris Malagi said it is aimed at improving the quality of lives of Nigerlites devastated by insurgency.

Repesented by his Coordinating Secretary Barrister Bala Marika Alh Mohd Idris Malagi said the gesture is to reduce the hardship faced by IDPs at various camps in parts of Niger state.

He also appealed to Muslim faihfuls in Niger state to use the period of Ramadan to pray for an end to current security challenges in Niger state and Nigeria.

Recieving the items on behalf of Niger state government Secretary to the Niger state Government Ahmed Ibrahim Matane repesented by Director General Niger state Emergrncy Management Agency Ibrahim Ahmed Inga SSG thanked him for the donation and assured of judicious utilisation.

Also speaking at the APC Secretariat in Minna State Chairman of APC Alh Haliru Zakari Jikantoro expressed satisfaction over the donation which he said would go along way in improving the living standards of party executives.

Items donated include one thousand seven hundred and fifty bags of rice one hundred and fifty bags of maize, millets as well as fifty jerricans of oil.
