One person has been confirmed dead and several others abducted as terrorists attacked many communities in Munya local government council of Niger state.
The attack which began around two pm on Friday left several communities except Sarkin pawa the headquarters of Munya local government council displaced.
The terrorists invaded Zazzaga market in their large number and started shooting sporadically to scare traders.
Thereafter the terrorists divided themselves into two groups where one group went to Fuka and its communities and the other group moved to Maraba dandaudu.
About five communities are said to have have been attacked while several persons have fled their home for fear of been killed.
Secretary Munya local government council Mr James Jagaba who confirmed the attack however called for concerted effort by all and sundry to address the problem of insecurity.
