APC, PDP, Others Lose Over 3000 Members To NNPP In Jigawa

Over 300,000 people from All Progressive Congress APC, People Democratic Party PDP and other political parties have set to join New Nigerian Peoples Party NNPP from across the 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State.

Speaking to newsmen in Dutse, the Jigawa State Chairman of New Nigerian Peoples Party NNPP Gambo Ibrahim Alawo said, the meeting of the party-state caucus had deliberated on the new development.

According to him, the meeting has reviewed the reports gathered from across the state which shows over 300,000 people are set to decamp to the new the party.

Gambo Ibrahim Alawo further explained that NNPP welcomed them and promised to provide an enabling environment for every member of the party to pursue legitimate democratic rights and interests according to the party and Nigerian constitution.

He said the party caucus called upon every person interested in joining the party to follow a proper channel for membership registration to avoid any error that might have an adverse effect on the party’s bright chances to win elections in Jigawa and Nigeria in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

Gambo added that the party was aware that, some political parties were jittery with the new development but NNPP would not be deterred on its determination to ensure it takes over Jigawa and Nigeria in the forthcoming general election.

“We are going to provide an alternative platform, a reliable force that will rescue Nigeria from two decades of nepotism, embezzlement of public funds, the corruption that retardate the country’s progress and unity” the State chairman emphasised.
