Eight people have been reportedly killed in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Farin doki on Minna – Suleja road in Paikoro local government council of Niger state.
The bus with regisration number Kmc 297 Zu is said to have been conveying passengers from Katsina to Lagos state.
Investigation revealed that some of the injured victims have been assisted by good Samaritans and were conveyed to a nearby hospital at Gawu babangida in Gurara local government council of Niger state.
An eye witness told Radio Nigeria that among the deceased were five men, one woman and a child while many others sustain various degrees of injury.
Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer Niger state command DSP Wasiu Abiodun said the police patrol team attached to Paiko division has moved the injured victims to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
