The Media Needs To Be United, Strong – GM FRCN Horizon FM

Media Stations in Jigawa State have been called upon to engage the State government in their activities.

The Managing Director of Radio Jigawa, Mallam Mati Ali made the call when he received the General Manager and management staff of Radio Nigeria Horizon FM who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

He assured that both Radio Jigawa and FRCN Horizon FM stations would continue to work closely to achieve the desired goals.

Alh Mati Ali explained that, engagement between the state government and media organizations could yield a positive result, especially in educating and enlightening the people especially the political system of the state.

He therefore commended the tremendous progress recorded in horizon FM by Dr Musa Barnawa since he assumed office as General Manager of the station.

Earlier, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Horizon FM, Dr Musa Idris Barnawa said the aim of the visit is to strengthen the good relationship between the Federal and state media  stations.

Dr.Barnawa emphasized that the media as a fourth arm of government need to be strong and united in order to confront their challenges.

The GM urged people of the state to continue patronizing the two Radio stations and also rally round Governor Badaru’s led administration for more developmental projects.
