Nigeria Centre for Disease Control-NCDC says 60 Nigerians evacuated from Ukraine have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Centre made this known in an update on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday morning.
In today’s update, total cases recorded was 118 with FCT having 68 out of which 60 cases are returnees from Ukraine.
According to the NCDC, Rivers State recorded 1 and a backlog of 49 cases reported for Lagos on 7th (8), 6th (23), 5th (18) March 2022.
It added that 5 States with zero cases reported are Delta, Kano, Nasarawa, Plateau, Sokoto.
With the latest figure, Nigeria’s confirmed Covid 19 cases now stands at 254,777 with 249,209 discharged and 3,142 deaths.
