Kebbi State Save Haven For Investors – Governor Bagudu

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has assured investors interested in the development of the state of his administration’s readiness to create an enabling environment for business operation.

He gave the assurance at the groundbreaking ceremony of Air Unity Aviation college in Birnin Kebbi to be established by a private airline firm.

Governor Bagudu commended the commitment of the Air Company for counting the state worthy to attract such a huge investment in among states in the Northwest.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu assured of his administration commitment towards supporting all category of investors into the state.

“We must commend the patriotic spirit of the investor for putting such a huge investment in the state”.

The Governor pointed out that, Investment by the private sector in the country is in consonant with President Muhammad Buhari’s economic development drive.

He therefore called on all patriotic son’s and daughter’s of the state to come home and invest for the development of the state.

The Managing Director of the Airline, Alhaji Ahmed Bashir, explained that the siting of the College in Kebbi state was with a view to opening a window capable of building the capacity of the people of the state especially, the youth in order to convert the opportunities abound in the aviation industry.

According to him, the College with the capacity of producing 50 pilots, 100 engineers and host of other experts, was not only targeting the state but the whole of West Africa.

He disclosed that, the construction of the College was expected to be completed in the next five months.

“The Construction of the College is expected to be completed in the next five months. Though, the college will not take up immediately as there are a lot of other requirements of both national and international regulatory agencies that must be met before the training commences.”
