Jigawa state High Court has sentenced Isah Ibrahim of Kwari Town in Birnin kudu local government area to life imprisonment for rape.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by the Director special services and protocol matters of the state judiciary, Malam Abbas Rufa’I Wangara.
Delivering the judgement at Birnin kudu High Court, the presiding judge justice Musa Ubale stated that the court found the convict guilty for the offence of raping a 4 year old girl at his farm in 2018.
The statement added that the prosecution counsel testified and proved their case beyond doubt.
The statement said, the court sentenced him to life imprisonment under section 3 of penal code law of Jigawa state of the year 2014.
