Muslims have been urged to fear Almighty God Allah in the discharge of their daily activities.

The Zamfara State Commissioner for Religious Affair, Dr Tukur Sani Jangebe made the call in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Gusau, the state capital.

Dr Jangebe said Islam is the foundation of human life as it determines how people think, act and perceive life in general.

He attributed the recent security and other economic challenges bedeviling the state and the country at large to disobedience to Allah SWT, and neglect of teachings of Holy Books.

The Commissioner who also double as Chief Imam of Muslims Foundation Jumuat Mosque Gusau, also called on Muslims Ummah to strictly adhered to the teachings of Islam and to surrender totally to the will of Almighty Allah and to redouble their efforts in worshiping Him alone.

Dr Tukur Jangebe also warned Muslims against worshiping idols or engaging themselves in superstitious beliefs.

According to him, Muslims are monotheistic and worship Allah alone, aim to live a life of complete submission to Him and to believe that nothing can happen without Allah’s permission.
