President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawal has expressed the willingness of the present administration to develop the country and make it better.

Senator Lawal stated this at an Empowerment Programme organised by the Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Sadiq Umar held at Kwara state Polytechnic Mini stadium, in Moro Local government area of Kwara state.

According to him, President Muhammadu Buhari-led’s administration is working hard to fix the infrastructural challenges in the country.

He urged Nigerians to continue to support the present administration’s policies and programs.

Senator Lawal explained that the synergy between states and the Federal government has contributed greatly to the development of the country.

The Senate President called on the residents of Kwara State to continue to support Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to enable him to consolidate his achievements in the last two years.

In his remark, the organizer of the empowerment and senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Sadiq Umar, said the purpose of the program is to complements the efforts of the state government in addressing the needs of people of the Northern part of the state who suffered neglect over the years.
