Wealth Investment In Education, A Panacea To Insecurity – Sultan

His emenance the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Muh’d Sa’ad Abubakar has stressed the need for wealth investment in the education of children and the propagation of Islam as a panacea to insecurity.

He stated this while speaking at the Silver Jubilee Celebration and Qur’anic graduation ceremony of Nurut Tilawah International School at the School premises in Kabama, Sabon Gari, Zaria.

Alh. Sa’ad Abubakar said when the younger generation was adequately educated especially with Islamic knowledge, they can never engage in acts of social vices causing insecurity among the society.

He emphasized that it was mandatory for Muslims to ensure that they use their wealth towards the development of Islam for divine rewards.

The Sultan confirmed his intention to join hands together with other stakeholders in contributing to the completion of the School to achieve its goals.

In a remark, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alh. Muh’d Mahmud, represented by Minister of State Mustapha Baba Shahuri called on the graduands to use the knowledge acquired in contributing to the overall development of the country.

While congratulating them for memorizing the Holy Qur’an, the Minister tasked them not to relent in striving for more knowledge.

Similarly, the Emir of Zazzau Mal. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Urged wealthy Muslims of Zazzau emirate to contribute immensely towards the development of the School to enable it to enroll more students.

He appealed to clergymen to intensify prayers for peace, security, and economic stability in the country.

Earlier, the Director of the School, Hafiz Nuraddeen Umar Tahir, said sixty-two students from different nationalities and states memorized the holy Qur’an within one year.

Hafiz Nura confirmed that a 14-year-old French girl, Fatima Musa memorized the holy Qur’an within four months.

Radio Nigeria Reports that some of the graduands, Abdulhakim Yunus From the Niger Republic and Fatima Musa From France have expressed delight in their successful graduation.

Dignitaries, that attended the graduation ceremony include Emir of Kano, Kazaure, Zamfaran Anka, Bade, and Funekayi.

Others are former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Sani Yariman Bakura, Representative of Kaduna State Governor, and parents of the graduating students among others.
