Zamfara State Government has donated N7 Million to slain Police Officers in the State.

Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, Ayuba N Elkana who presented One Million Naira to each family of the 7 Police officers who were killed by Bandits expressed appreciation to the sttae governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle for the gesture.

He noted that, the donation would alleviate the hardship experienced by the families of the deceased officers, saying it would serve as a Moral Booster to the Officers and Men of the Command.

Safaratu Sanda and Fatima Zubairu are among the widows who loss their husbands killed by bandits, thanked the governor for the donation which they described as timely considering their hardship, however, Fatima Zubairu decried lack of shelter to live with the her little children.

The 7 Police Officers were killed by bandits along Magani- Dansadau Road on 8th November, 2021 while on Duty.
