Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says the newly transformed state owned television station will serve as a viable means of informing the public .

AbdulRazq made the disclosure in Ilorin at the inauguration and the official switched on of the Kwara Television for 24-hour transmission .


According to him the giant step will take the medium an inch closer to the administration’s vision of making it a leader in the audiovisual industry.

He said the development is another milestone that would be built upon with massive deployment of modern technology, local contents, and rich human resources available in the state.

AbdulRazq noted that his administration will ensure the station remains at the top with the right investments and support.

In his remark the General Manager of the state owned Television station , Olatunde Michael said the launch was the first of the three phases of bringing Kwara television back to public reckoning.
