Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command, has assured to partner with the National Union of Zamfara State Students unions to rid the state of criminal activities.

Commandant of the Corps, Commandant Athanasius Sparks gave the assurance when he received members of the Union Zamfara state chapter on a familiarization visit.

The Commandant who was represented by the Deputy Commandant Administration, DCC Musa Garba reiterated the commitment of the Corps in ensuring students go about their studies peacefully without fear of intimidations or harassment.

He also advised the student body to be law abiding , vigilant and proactive in providing intelligent reports to security agencies in order to nip any perceived crime at the right time.

The Commandant, therefore advised them to desist from cultism and any other form of social vices capable of jeopardizing their future and academic pursuit.

In his remarks, the leader of the union Comrade Samaila Sani said, the union was on a familiarization visit to solicit professional and fatherly advice from the Commandant in order to achieve success in their mission as a student body.
