All Progressive Congress, APC led Senator Kabiru Marafa faction in Zamfara State has affirmed Alhaji Surajo Garba maikatako as chairman of the party.
The affirmation was announced during the State APC Congress held in Tsafe town, Tsafe local government area of the State.
Speaking at the Congress, Senator Kabiru Marafa urged the new party executives to be law abiding, remain good ambassadors and true citizens of the State.
Marafa who was represented by his spokesman Alhaji Bello Bakyasuwa further called on them to remain steadfast and shun any acts capable of destroying the good reputation of the teeming supporters in the State.
In his acceptance speech, the Marafa’s led factional chairman Alhaji Surajo Maikatako assured to carried all members of the party to greater high and progress in the State.
Among the newly Executives are Alhaji Surajo Garba maikatako as chairman, Danmalan Maiyadi vice chairman, Alhaji Awwalu Garba as treasurer, Nasiru Mohammed Gummi to serve as secretary of the party.
Others are Nafisa Ahmed Marafa as state woman leader, Alhaji Abubakar Gura as organizing secretary while the post of State Publicity secretary went to Alhaji Bello Bakyasuwa.
The Mamouth crowd witnessed over five thousand delegates across the 147 wards and local government areas,all the delegates agreed on the emergence of Marafa’s factional leadership in the State.
