Zamfara State Government through State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has distributed food items to 200 beneficiaries from 18 communities of Yandoton Daji Town of Tsafe Local Government Area.
Speaking while distributing the items, Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Honourable Fa’ika M. Ahmad assured that the gesture was to caution the hardship being experienced by the women whose some were widows.
She urged them to ensure judicious utilization of the food given to them and not to indulge in selling the package which includes rice and beans.
Malama Delu Abubakar who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked the State Government for coming to their aid and pledged to use the food for the purpose given.
