The Inspector General of Police , Usman Alkali Baba has arrived Awka the Anambra state capital ahead of stakeholders meeting scheduled to hold at the Professor Dora Akunyili Development Center.
He was received by the Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng and other top Police Authorities before proceeding to inspect Guards of Honor at the Command Headquarters Amawbia.
The stakeholders meeting is expected to have in attendance, the Chairman Independent National Electoral Commission ,INEC, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu who also arrived the state on Tuesday, religious leaders, Governorship Candidates and Party Leaders, Heads of all Security agencies as well as government representatives.
Radio Nigeria reports that all roads and strategic positions in the state are witnessing heavy security presence ahead of Saturday sixth governorship election.
