Emir of Gumel and the Jigawa state Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi

Jigawa State Government says Gagarawa electricity substation will commence full operation for communities Gumel and other local government areas within the state.

Governor Badaru Abubakar disclosed this at this year’s Gani festival in Gumel.

He explained that the Gagarawa electricity substation would bring rapid development and improve the socio-economic well-being of the people and the state in general.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Mallam Umar Namadi expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation given to the state government from the Emir and the entire people of the Gumel emirate at all times.

Badaru Abubakar said the state government would continue to provide financial and moral support to improve the welfare of its citizens.

He congratulated the Emir and the entire people of the emirate for organizing the Gani festival.

Also speaking, the Emir of Gumel Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani commended the federal government for establishing the Gagarawa electricity substation while reaffirming the emirate’s loyalty to the state and federal governments.

He also commended the state government for executing developmental projects in the emirate and other parts of the state.

The Emir called on farmers and Fulani to continue living in peace with one another for peace to prevail.
