Governor Bello Matawalle of zamfara state has charged the newly appointed 14 Local Government Sole Administrators to secure their areas from banditry.

He made this known during the swearing in ceremony of the newly appointed Sole Administrators at Government Gusau, the state capital.

Governor Matawalle also directed each of the appointees to swear by the Holy Qur’an that they would not be involved in any form of banditry.

According to him, their performance during their new assignment will have an impact on future decisions to entrust them with other responsibilities, calling on them to take this responsibility as a challenge.

The newly appointed Sole Administrators are Dr Aminu Sulaiman Yarkufoji, Bakura, Ahmed Balarabe, Anka, Kabiru Ladan Maigoro, Birnin-Magaji, Bashiru Muawiya Bukkuyum, Mohammed Saddiq Maiturare, Bungudu Abubakar Shehu Daki-Takwas, Gummi Sanusi Mohammed Sarki, Gusau.

Others are Nasiru Altine Yakamata, Kauran Namoda, Umaru Muazu Naabu, Maradun, Salisu Isa D/Gulbi, Maru, Abdulrahman Bala, Shinkafi, Dahiru Maiyara Garbadu, Talata-Mafara, Aminu Mudi, Tsafe, Dr Auwal Ahmad Bawa Moriki, Zurmi
