The Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, PSC, says from December 1, Federal Government employees would be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result done within 72 hours to gain access to their offices.

Chairman of PSC and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Mr Boss Mustapha stated this at the national briefing of the committee in Abuja.

He said the directive includes all locations within Nigeria and its mission Offices.

Mr Mustapha explained that the reason for the directive was to further consolidate the progress so far achieved in fighting the Coronavirus noting that Nigeria has enough COVID-19 vaccines for its citizens.

He added that a circular to this effect would be sent to all Federal Government Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals.
