President Muhammadu Buhari says Nigeria looks forward to the uplift of her bilateral ties with China.

The President stated this in a goodwill message to President Xi Jinping on the 72nd Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, which also falls on October 1st.

President Buhari lauds 50 years of robust diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and China, noting that it has yielded benefits for both countries.

He says Nigeria highly commends China’s feat in poverty eradication, and success in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, witnessed under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China.
