The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with the Arabian Chamber of Commerce, to facilitate collaboration for the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

At the event in Abuja, the Minister, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo represented by the Director, Legal of the Ministry, Mr. Danjuma Alhassan explained that the MoU would boost Trade and Investment promotion and strengthen business relations between Nigeria and the Gulf countries.

According to the Minister, the MoU will also facilitate further dissemination of vital Market information, host conferences, seminars and business forum for opportunities as well as fund the upcoming Expo. Otunba Adebayo emphasized that the Nigerian-Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce was self-funding a bilateral trade association dedicated to the development of business relations.

The Representative of Nigerian-Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce, NAGCC, Mr. Theodore Mayaki commended the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment for the initiative and promised to abide by the terms of the MoU.

The NAGCC is a bilateral Trade association established to boost trade relations between Nigeria and other Arabian countries.
