President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Nigeria Immigration Service to disallow foreigners from usurping jobs from Nigerians.

The Comptroller General of the Service, Alhaji Mohammed Babandede, disclosed this to newsmen after he briefed President Buhari on Chinese venture into retail businesses in Nigerian markets.

He warned that citizens, who had been colluding and protecting foreigners indulging in illegal activities, would be prosecuted if caught.

The Comptroller General urged Nigerians to be more patriotic in protecting the economy, which in turn ensures security for all.

He said President Buhari had given the Service a matching order to deploy legal strength in the protection of the borders and business
wellbeing of the citizenry.

The Comptroller General gave an assurance that the Service would do its utmost to keep Nigeria safer through effective border management
and control, and after-entry control to ensure effective control of the country’s territory.
