Nigeria has recorded another 618 new cases of COVID-19 in 14 states and the FCT with 10 deaths on Friday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known on it’s Facebook post.

In the latest figure, Lagos recorded the highest number of fresh infections – 807 followed by Akwa Ibom, Edo, and Rivers which reported 89, 71, and 47 cases respectively.

Others are Ekiti – 20, Plateau – 20, Delta – 15, Kwara – 13, FCT – 11, Osun – 8, Oyo – 4, Ogun – 3, Benue – 3, Gombe – 1, and Kaduna – 1.

With the latest figure, the total number of confirmed cases is 190,333, 169,815 discharged and 2, 308 deaths.
