Nigerian Army has pledged to continue to accord the necessary attention to its personnel injured in action.

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya gave the assurance during his maiden visit to the 44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna.

Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya explained that he was in the hospital to see, appreciate and relate with the wounded soldiers particularly those that sustained various degrees of injuries in the North East and other theatres of operations.

Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya who assured them of Army’s commitment to give them the best of treatment, however expressed delight over their high level morale.

He also commended the management of the hospital for the treatment accorded the wounded personnel.

The Army Chief pointed out that the Army is making effort to ensure that those who require advanced treatment get it accordingly.

Lieutenant General Yahaya also assured troops in the frontline of the necessary support to win the war against all forms of security challenges.
