About three hundred people in Batali town of Babura local government area will benefit from free NYSC health initiative for rural dwellers Programme.

The State Coordinator of NYSC, Hajia Aisha Adamu made this known during the flag of the Programme at Batali town, Jigawa State.

She said the Director General of the scheme has approved the implementation of 2021 health initiative for rural dwellers Programme in the 36 states of the federation.

Hajia Aisha Adamu said the aim of the Programme was delivering professional healthcare to the rural populace and utilize the services of healthcare to the nooks and crannies in the State.

She said treatments and medical consumables are given free  to patients and commended Jigawa state and well to do individuals for donating drugs to the Programme.

The Village head of Batali, Mallam Abdulaziz Usman who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries commended NYSC for launching the Programme in the town.
