Cov/Abdulrazak Kaura (Zamfara)
Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC is set to distribute fertilizer to farmers who are members of the party for 2021 wet farming season.
This was revealed by the chairman caretaker committee of the party in the State, Lawal M. Liman, shortly after a meeting for the commencement of the distribution in Gusau.
According to him, the fertilizer was procured by the APC leader of the state, former Governor, Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar to support farmers who are loyalists of the party with a view to boosting food security in the state and the country in General.
Noting that, as Agricultural State, people of Zamfara State mainly depend on farming which is their pride, hence the need to support farmers with farming inputs for bumper harvest.
In a remark, a party chieftain and former chairman, Gusau Local Government Babangida Abdullahi, said the APC leader of the state was concerned about the plight of the party members and people of the State, saying APC members in the state are living in a better condition.
