Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Jigawa State Command has deployed 1,300 personnel to the 27 local government areas for maximum security before, during and after the Eid-el-fitr celebrations. 

The State Commandant, Alhaji Garba Muhammad approved the deployment order during the regular Monday muster parade at the Command Headquarters IN Dutse.

According to him, the deployed personnel will provide security at the prayer grounds, recreational centres, durbar routes among others.

He said Mobile and Stationed vehicular patrol would be maintained 24 hours to ensure maximum surveillance across the State.

Alhaji Garba Muhammad pointed out that the Anti-vandal operatives would also be stationed at government buildings and installations, as well as other critical national Infrastructural facilities to intensify surveillance and provide security.

 He called on residents to cooperate with the personnel by reporting  any suspicious activity or movement around them for appropriate action.

The Commandant also advised the general public to ensure compliance on COVID 19 guidelines such as avoiding crowded places and wearing of protective face masks.
