Governor Badaru Abubakar of jigawa state has directed for immediate investigation into alleged employment syndicate within the local government service commission.

He stated this during the annual workers day celebration at the sir Ahmadu Bello Hall, Dutsel.

Alhaji Badaru Abubakar confirmed that govfrnment was aware of the syndicate activities and would not spare anyone found culpable no matter how highly placed.

The governor who was responding to complaint raised by the state nigerian labour congress NLC chairman Comrade Sunusi Alhassan alleging gross abuse of due process in issuance of appointments and promotion of selected staffs by the commission.

He assured workers of his commitment to pay salaries and pensions next months despite warning that there may be zero Federal allocation in subsequent months.

Responding, the NLC chairman comrade Sunusi Alhassan called the attention of the governor to happenings at the state local government service commission of gross disregard to due process and public service rules.

He also pleaded with the Alhaji Badaru Abubakar to intervene in order to save the state from losing its hard earned reputation by some selfish individuals.
