A Non Governmental Oganisation-Malala Advocacy Project says it is working for a world where every girl can learn and lead.

The Director, Hajiya Habiba Muhammad made this known at a meeting organized on a girl child Education in kaduna.

Hajiya Habiba Muhammad explained that the advocacy project was to support the girl-child to be who she wants to be in future through quality education, provision of vocational skills, health and nutrition information.

”This advocacy journey things are not always smooth because we need to have support from the government and stakeholders to be courageous and have motivation to continue the struggle to support the girl-child in the society.” she said.

Speaking, Team Lead of the Advocacy under the Center for Girl-Child Education, Hajiya Fatima Suleiman Abdullahi said the meeting which featured top stakeholders was to have idea about the project and also sign agreement for sponsorship of safe spaces of the girl-child.

She noted that this would also equip the centre with information towrds sensitizing and education the public on importance of women being carried along.

Some of the participants at the meeting say the Advocacy has transformed their lives and helped them know how to manage their future wherever they find themselves.
