Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has relaxed the curfew imposed on Offa and Erin-Ile, Communities.

A statement issued by the Governor AbdulRazq’s spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye said the curfew period would now run between 8p.m. and 6a.m. daily , effective from today, Wednesday March 24.

The Governor had on March 4 imposed a 6p.m. to 8a.m. curfew on the two towns following renewed hostilities in the communities.

AbdulRazq appealed to leaders on both sides to continue to restrain and caution their people against provocative actions and to maintain peace.

He however commended security agencies for ensuring adequate protection of lives and properties in the state.
