Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has publicly taken the covid 19 vaccine marking the commencement of the state vaccination exercise.
The Governor, his deputy, Mannir Dan iya and other government official presented themselves for the Astrazeneca vaccination under the supervision of the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Muhammad Ali Inname.
Allaying the fear of people, the Governor urged people in the state to present themselves for the vaccination with a view to eradicating coronavirus pandemic in the country.
It could be recall that the state received it share of the vaccine, amounting to over sixty thousands doses from FG last week.
