Federal Government has reassured it’s commitment in ensuring that the ongoing reconstruction of Abuja – Kaduna -Kano dual carriage way was completed within the stipulated time.
The Minister of State for Works and Housing, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu stated this while inspecting the ongoing reconstruction of Zaria-Kano Dual carriage way in Kano.
Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was committed in providing quality infrastructure in all the geopolitical zones of the federation which is geared towards uplifting the well being of the general populace.
He said the ministry of works and Housing steered by Mr Babatunde Fashola would not live any stone unturned in ensuring the quality of the ongoing reconstruction of the dual carriage way as well as timely completion.
Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu who expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done so far, urged the contractors to maintain the Tempo.
He applauded the foresight and commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the reconstruction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano road, saying the infrastructure was to the world class standard.
The Minister appealed to commuters plying the road and other road users to accord maximum cooperation to the construction companies aimed at ensuring that the reconstruction was completed within the stipulated time.
Other places inspected by the Minister includes, Kano Western bypass, Katsina ongoing Dual carriage way among others.
