The Management of Dalhatu Arab Specialists Hospital Lafia, Nasarawa State has appeal to Residents Doctors to shelved their proposed strike.

Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Ikrama Hassan made the appealed at a press conference held in Lafia.

The CMD said management of hospital was working round the clock in ensuring the enabling enviroment for the resident doctors.

Dr. Ikrama Hassan explained that, the reason given by the Association of Resident Doctor about safety and protection of their members against the second wave of COVID-19 is baseless, as the Management of the hospital had provided all the necessary facilities.

According to him, Personnel Protective Equipment- PPE, face masks among other facilities was provided to curtail any threat of Coronavirus.

Dr. Ikrama Hassan also express worried over the activities of some bad eggs in the hospital that were destabilising the progress of the management of the hospital.

The Chief Medical Director added that, the Resident Doctor received six months allowances from the management of hospital.
