Over 1,000 vulnerable groups have received #10,000 each under the Federal government conditional cash transfer program in Babura local government area of Jigawa state.

The co-ordinator of the program in the area, Mallam Ado Ya’u Jigawa stated this during the disbursement exercise in Babura.

According to him, about five hundred women have also benefited with twenty thousand naira each to improve their businesses. 

Malam Ado Ya’u pointed out that about 10 million naira was disbursed to beneficiaries in the locality so as to be self reliant while advising them to make good use of the fund.

Some of the beneficiaries commended the federal and state governments for initiating the program, and promised to make best use of the money.
