The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force -PTF on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha

Federal Government has ordered all federal civil servants on Grade Level 12 and below to stay at home for the next five weeks from Monday, December 28, 2020.

The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force -PTF on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha announced this on Monday at the briefing of the task force in Abuja.

Mr Boss Mustapha also announced that all schools would remain closed till January 18 while stating that restrictions are placed on social and religious gatherings for five weeks.

The PTF Chairman noted that all bars, nightclubs and recreation centres nationwide are to be closed till further notice.

He said all informal and formal festivity events have been restricted to not more than 50 people adding that such event should be held outdoor if more than 50 people are attending.

In compliance with social distancing rules, the PTF Chairman explained that public transportation systems should carry passengers not more than 50 per cent of their capacity.
