Executive Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr. Caino Cafra says Kajuru is on the path of becoming an economic hub with the relative peace restored in the area.
Mr. Cafra in an interview with Radio Nigeria described the relative peace returned to Kajuru as a result of series of dialogues between stakeholders including locals and herders in the area.
Mr. Cafra noted that the local and state government are poised to restoring Kajuru to its full economic potential.
The Chairman said the project which was 95% completed would revive commercial activities of the area and creating a conducive business environment.
He also said that an 87km road project was underway to open up the area for more business activities and upgrade of Kasuwan Magani to an ultra modern market.
Mr. Caino Cafra further calls on the people of Kajuru to consolidate on the peace achieved so far, not giving place to divisive tendencies that would heighten the insecurity in the local government for a long time.
