Nigerian Airforce has reiterated federal government’s commitment in eradicating insecurity and insurgency in the country.

The chief of Air staff, Air Marshall Saddique Abubakar made the disclosure at the ground running ceremony of the L39 aircraft reactivated in Nigeria at 403 flying training school, Nigerian Air Force Base kano.

He explained that 37 aircrafts were reactivated from 2015 to date.

Saddique Abubakar said the aircrafts would play a vital role in assisting the Nigerian Air Force in its fight aginst insurgency and insecurity.

Air Marshall Saddique noted that the air force delegation was in Kano to access and inspect every aspect of the reactivated aircraft.

He pointed out that similar projects were carried out in Kainji and Makurdi.

The chief of Air staff added that the fleet renewal project was initiated by the present administration to ensure capacity building as well as maintainance culture within the air force.
