Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors has unveiled it’s new brand identify for effective service delivery.

The unveiling of it’s brand new identify took place at the organisation’s twenty twenty Annual General Meeting holding in Minna Niger state.

President of the Institute Quantity Surveyor Mohammed Abba Tor while unveiling the new brand said that the essence of rebranding project is to properly situate Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors within the context of domestic and global changes to ensure that it remains relevant competitiveness and result oriented.

It is also to enable it discharge it’s obligations to members in a most effective ways possible inline with it’s mandate.

Ouantity Surveyor Mohammed Abba Tor however decried how the role of Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry as the professional construction cost manager and unique value the role adds to projects is sometimes overlooked and called for a change of attitude to succeed.

In his remarks Emir of Lapai in Niger state who doubled as a member and royal father of the day Alh Umar Bago Tafida appealed to government at all level to ensure professionalism in project execution to justify the aims and objective of set target.

Alh Umar Bago Tafida also commended the efforts of members in trying to rush out quacks from the institute aimed at enhancing and promoting it’s corporate image to the world.
