President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the people of kebbi state for living in peace with one another.

President Muhammadu Buhari made the commendation during a telephone conversation with Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar.

The Emir who conveyed the presidents message during the weekly prayer session held at Abdullahi Fodiyo palace birnin kebbi quoted Buhari commending people of kebbi state as law abiding citizens, and appreciate traditional institutions for their role in achieving the desired objectives.

Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar who urged the citizens to maintain the tempo, advised them to desist from taking the law into their hands.

According to him, peace is the key to development in any society and urged all to embrace peace.
