Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, has solicited for the support of Gwandu Emirate through fatherly advice and counsel.
Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli stated this when he visited Abdullahi Fodiyo palace in Birnin Kebbi to pay homage to the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar together with the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera.
The Emir of Zazzau said the visit was necessary due to the immense contributions of Sokoto caliphate and Gwandu Emirate in nation building, preaching peace and unity.
He thanked the Royal fathers saying it will go a long way in helping him run his affairs smoothly.
Responding, the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar who prayed for the soul of the late Emir, Alhaji Shehu Idris assured the new Emir of his continuous support.
Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar while reminding him of the task ahead, urged him to be patient and carry everyone along.
The Monarch further advised his council to support him in discharging his duties.
