Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami

Minister of justice and Attorney general of the federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has condoled with victims of recent flooding in Kebbi state.

The minister stated this during the flagging off of khadimiyya Anchor Browers programme in Birnin kebbi.

Alhaji Malami explained that, President Muhammad Buhari expressed sadness over the flood in the State and other parts of the country.

The minister added that Federal government had taken steps to assist those affected across the country.

Represented by National Chairman of khadimiyya for Justice and Development Initiatives, Abubakar Malami said the aim and objective of the khadimiyya is to improve the socio economic development of people in Kebbi state.

He added that the khadimiyya anchor browers programme is a soft laon from the Central Bank of Nigeria-CBN, aimed at boosting farming system in the state.

The minister charged beneficiaries to ensure proper repayment of the loans to allow others to benefit.

About one thousand eight hundred and twenty farmers will benefit from the loan scheme .

Each farmer is to receive one hundred and seventy five thousand naira, six bags of fertilizer and insecticide among others.

Kebbi State Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Attahiru Maccido said the government remain committed to boost farming system in the state.
