Communities in kaduna state have been urged to desist from dumping refuse in drainages to avoid flooding.

Executive Secretary, kaduna State Emergency Management Agency Maimunatu Abubakar stated this in an interview with news men in Kaduna. 

She decried the attitude of people who reside in flood prone areas despite warnings from the Emergency Management Agency.

Hajia maimunatu Abubakar stressed the need for proper dumping of refuse and building in accordance with the town planning law to avoid flooding.
