DG NAFDAC, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye

National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control- NAFDAC has pledged to step-up campaign against the use of Paracetamol by some Nigerians to cook food.

Director General of the Agency, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye made this known to newsmen in Abuja.

The NAFDAC Director General noted that cooking with Paracetamol as tenderizer was an indication of the level of illiteracy among some Nigerians.

She said that the Agency would continue to intensify enlightenment until Nigerians stopped the bad cooking habit.

Professor Mojisola Adeyeye added no arrest had so far been made although NAFDAC would begin to visit food vendors to take samples of their soup for laboratory test.
