Provost, KSCOE- Professor Kure

The Provost, Kaduna State College of Education Gidan Waya, Professor Alexander Kure has appealed to the state government to make available more funds for development of the college to enhance academic growth of the institution.

He said the college was one of the largest and vibrant teachers producing institution in the state hence the need for more funds to improve its quality as well as that of the primary and secondary schools affiliated to it.

Professor Alexander Kure stated this during an interview with Radio Nigeria in kafanchan, Kaduna State.

He pointed out that the institution which was committed to producing Quality Educational Professionals had welcomed students from other professions under its Post Graduate Diploma and Certificates in education among others to give them additional skills.

The Provost said the college had engaged services of the neighborhood security watch who in turn would work with the college security operatives to provide security for staff and students.

Professor Kure emphasized the need for good working relationship between staff and students as he pledged to listen to their submissions as well as that of the student’s division unit with a view to promoting a better environment for learning.

He urged both academic and non-academic staff to intensify effort in their quest to further their studies to boost their educational career for growth and development

The Professor who commended the Government of Kaduna State for removing school fees charges in the institution pointed out that the gesture would go a long way to promote Educational Development in Kaduna state and the nation in general
