Kano State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Transmission Company of Nigeria on viable transmission projects to improve power supply in the state.

 Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Abba Anwar made this known while speaking to newsmen in Kano.

He said the project would further strengthen the state economy with the needed industrial expansion and improve Small Medium Scale Enterprises.

Abba Anwar stressed that government would set up a committee to facilitate sound and proactive modalities for the final touch of the project.

The chief press Secretary reiterated government’s commitment to work with Jigawa and Katsina States to facilitate successful implementation of the project.‎
