Jigawa Stars Dents Kano Pillars Chances of Winning 2021 NPFL

Jigawa Golden Stars took a giant step towards escaping relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL after beating Kano Pillars on Sunday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

The goal was superbly scored by substitute Ali Maro who hit a fierce shot just outside the box in the 81st minute.

The victory takes Jigawa Stars to 14th on the table, while Pillars have moved a step down to 3rd, four points behind Leaders Akwa United.

In other matches played elsewhere, Nasarawa United held Enyimba to a goalless draw in Aba, Rivers United pipped Katsina United by a lone goal, Plateau United scored two goals past Warri Wolves while the game between Dakkada FC and Rangers International finished 1-1 in Uyo.

Similarly, Former Super Eagles Captain, Austin Eguavoen says organising seminars for Grassroot football Coaches will help nurture them into becoming modern day football Managers.

The former Eagles captain made this known at the end of a three day Workshop on Coaching Management, organised by the Senior Special Assistant on Youth Sports and Culture to the Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, Abubakar Ekene Adams.

Eguavoen who was one of the resource Persons emphasized that the workshop would have a positive impact on the Participants.
