Gov Aminu Tambuwal Commissions 3 Road Networks In Jigawa

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state has commissioned three road networks in Dutse metropolis of jigawa state.

Speaking at the ceremony held in Dutse, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for executing the project as well as a number of capital projects in the state.

Also speaking, Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State pointed out that the state government it has spent over one point five billion naira on the construction of road networks at Mobile base, Yalwawa and Sabuwar Takur quarters in Dutse metropolis.

According to him, similar roads were constructed in rural and urban areas in the state as part of the present administration’s commitment to provide basic social amenities to the people of the state.

Earlier, the state commissioner for works and transport, Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel said the present administration had constructed nineteen regional, five feeder and township roads in thirteen local government areas of the state.

Radio Nigeria reports that the ceremony was attended by the state Deputy Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, Emir of Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhamamdu Sunusi and top government officials.
