Jema’a Local Government chairman, Mr. Peter Danjuma Averik has commended the management of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO) for restoring power supply in the area after months of power outage.
In a statement, Mr. Averik said consistent electricity supply was key to economic development and social wellbeing of people.
The statement stressed the need for customers and management of KAEDCO to sustain their commitment to ensure uninterrupted power supply for businesses to thrive in the area.
It cautioned the people against resorting to self help when channelling their grievances , pointing out that such habit is counter productive to the collective struggle for peace and sustainable development.
The Chairman in the statement reiterated the Council’s commitment to ensuring the security of lives and property while thanking individuals and groups for their concern and efforts which finally led to the restoration of electricity supply in the area.
