House of Representatives has adjourned plenary for one week to Honour two lawmakers who died during this year’s Ester Break.

The lawmakers honoured by the house are Mr. Haruna Murtala, from Plateau state who died in an accident and Alh Sulaiman Aliyu Lere, from Kaduna State who died after a brief illness.

Announcing the adjournment, Speaker, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, described the two lawmakers as hardworking, dedicated and honest politicians who died when their services were needed the most.

Also speaking, on the adjournment of the house plenary the House majority Leader, Alh Alhassan Ado Doguwa, said the two were active members of the 9th Assembly, whose contributions to National Development were immeasurable.

The house then adjourned to 20th April, 2021.
